Justin – 2nd Degree Black Belt

“Justin after nearly two years absence since getting his first degree black belt returned to Ms. Morrison's care a broken boy. All the symptoms of his Aspergers Syndrome had manifest themselves. Physically he was so out of condition he was heading for type 2 diabetes and had the stamina of a 60-year-old. Socially he was fearful of talking to anyone because of the unmerciful bullying he had received at school. Emotionally he had given up on himself and had no self-esteem or goals. Ms. Morrison turned this all around with a carefully regimented exercise program that brought him back to health, combined with controlled social interaction with peers and adults, that restored his faith in people. Also by setting goals that were challenging enough (being tough and kind) Ms. Morrison has been able to reestablish Justin's self esteem and confidence.”

Jared – Color Belt

"We truly can't say enough about our experience at A Million Ways. The sensitivity and compassion that Jean Morrison and her assistants have shown to our son who has autism have truly provided healing - both for us and for him. Beyond that, the instruction in Taekwondo has been superb! We have seen noticeable changes in our son's self-confidence, in his sense of personal responsibility, and in his physical coordination and sense of himself in space - within a span of only a few sessions. As psychotherapists in our professional lives, we have also appreciated the ways in which Jean and her staff are able to connect with children on the autism spectrum and teach them important lessons about respect, cooperation, and self-control within an atmosphere of encouragement. This is truly a wonderful program!"

Jay - Color Belt

"Our 7 year old son with Autism has been training with Miss Morrison for around a month. In that time his focus has dramatically improved, he's started to play with toys, and playground equipment. Usually at the end of the school year he has a regression, but in large part thanks to Miss Morrison he seems to be thriving."
